Who we are
NumberGlyph is a set of in-browser puzzle games hosted at numberglyph.com.

What we store on your device
NumberGlyph does not require an account. To make the games work smoothly, we store certain information locally in your browser using localStorage (and sometimes sessionStorage) such as:
- Current game state (turns, reveals, solved groups where relevant)
- Streaks, best times/scores, and basic preferences (e.g. theme)
- “Seen” flags for help/tutorial dialogs
Local storage is kept on your device. We do not have a way to “see” your local progress unless you choose to share it.
Cookies, advertising, and analytics
NumberGlyph may use cookies or similar technologies (localStorage, device identifiers, or pixel tags) for:
- Essential functionality (e.g. saving preferences and game state)
- Analytics (understanding which pages are used, improving performance)
- Advertising (funding the site, measuring ad performance)
Google AdSense (if/when enabled)
If we show ads, we may use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may:
- Use cookies and/or similar technologies to serve ads and to measure ad performance
- Collect information such as IP address, device/browser details, and interactions with ads
- Show ads based on your interests (personalised ads) where permitted

Email subscriptions (weekly puzzle digest)
If you give us your email via the post-win subscribe form, we store it solely to send you a weekly puzzle digest (one short email about new puzzles, tips, and your streak). We do not sell or share your email with third parties.
- Lawful basis (GDPR): consent — you opt in by submitting the form.
- Processor: we use Resend to send emails. They process your email under a standard DPA.
- Unsubscribe: every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us to be removed.
- Retention: we keep your address until you unsubscribe.
Server logs and security
Like most websites, our hosting and security providers may process basic technical data in server logs to keep the site running, protect against abuse, and troubleshoot issues. This may include IP address, user agent, timestamps, and requested URLs.
Sharing
If you use any “share” feature (for example, sharing a result image/text), that content is shared by you. Be mindful that shared content may be visible to others depending on where you post it.
Children
NumberGlyph is designed for a general audience. If advertising is enabled, we aim to configure it appropriately. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us via About / Support.

We may update this page from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top shows the latest version.
