How CalcudokuGlyph works (60 seconds)
Latin-square logic + cage arithmetic. Clean rules, fast wins.
1) Fill the grid
Choose a size (4×4, 5×5, 6×6). Fill every row and column with digits 1..N. No repeats in a row or column.
2) Solve cages
The grid is split into cages. Each cage has a target and (sometimes) an operator: + × − ÷. Your digits in that cage must match the target.
− and ÷ appear on 2-cell cages only (either order).
3) Controls
Tap a cell to select it, then tap a number. Use Erase to clear a cell. Row/column repeats highlight instantly. Cage hints gently tint when complete.
Tiny strategy that actually helps
Any cage with just a target (no operator) is a given digit. Use these as anchors.
If a row already has 1, 3, 4… the missing digit is forced. This often resolves a whole cage instantly.
A ÷ cage target 3 means the pair must be (3,1) or (6,2) depending on size. That narrows options fast.
For × cages, list factor pairs/triples that fit in 1..N, then cross-check row/col repeats.
Common questions
Only your stats (best time, plays, streak) are stored locally on this device.
No. For 2-cell cages, either order is allowed: absolute difference and either-way division.
When Mistakes are on, entering an immediately invalid digit (row/col repeat or completed cage mismatch) increments the counter.
