How KakuroGlyph works (60 seconds)
Runs + sums + no repeats. Calm logic, fast wins.
1) What you’re solving
Kakuro is a sum puzzle. You fill the white cells with digits 1–9. Each horizontal or vertical group of white cells is a run.
2) Read the clue cells
A black clue cell can contain two sums: down (top-left) and right (bottom-right). Those sums apply to the run that starts immediately below or to the right.
3) How to get faster
Start with short runs (2–3 cells). Their sums have fewer combinations, so you can lock digits quickly. Then use the intersections to force the rest.
Common questions
Mistakes shows how many filled cells are currently violating a run rule (duplicate or sum mismatch).
Best time and streak are stored locally on this device.
Short runs first. If a run sum is small/large for its length, many digits are forced.
