How OpGlyph works (60 seconds)

Operators + feedback β†’ quick β€œaha”.

1) Fill the blanks

You get digits with β€œ?” operator slots and a target. Choose operators: + βˆ’ Γ— Γ·.

No parentheses. Compute strictly left-to-right.

2) Commit with Enter

You can place operators freely, but nothing counts until you press Enter. Enter uses up one try and shows feedback for your operators.

6 tries operators are the β€œguess” digits + target stay fixed

3) Use feedback

Each operator gets Wordle-style feedback:

🟩 right operator in the right slot 🟨 operator exists but wrong slot ⬛ operator not in the solution

Two quick examples

Example A (Easy)

Digits: 8 ? 2 ? 5 = 11
Slots: 2 operators

Try: Γ— then + Try: + then βˆ’

Press Enter to see which operators are correct and where.

Example B (Hard)

Digits: 9 ? 3 ? 2 ? 8 ? 4 = 20
Slots: 4 operators

Use one Γ— early Then steer with + / βˆ’ Γ· can β€œtune”

Watch for ⬛ operators you can eliminate completely.

Play Easy Try Hard

Tip: it’s faster when you treat operators like a Wordle guess.

Quick get-going

Tap a ? slot, choose operators, press Enter. Evaluate left-to-right.

What you’re guessing
  • Digits are locked. You guess the operators.
  • Enter commits one try (6 tries total).
  • Feedback is per-slot: 🟩 right slot, 🟨 wrong slot, ⬛ not used.
Left-to-right rule
No brackets. Example: 8 Γ· 2 Γ— 5 = (8Γ·2)=4, then 4Γ—5=20.
Tiny strategy
  • Use 🟨 to move an operator to a different slot.
  • If an operator shows ⬛, stop using it.
  • Lock 🟩 first, then shuffle the rest.
